We all want to be known for something. Whether it be our wonderful acting skills, our awesome beauty, our creative creativity, or our informative wikiHow articles. If you are striving for the latter, then you'll want to read this.

[edit] Steps

  1. Pick a popular topic. If your wikiHow article is about a topic that no one is interested in, then no one will read it.
  2. Write a good introduction. Create a Summary introduces the reader to what the article is going to teach them how to do.
  3. Write steps. Make sure they are researched, detailed, logical, readable, and most importantly, correct. Also, try to use at least decent grammar and good spelling. Do not worry however, if you have a problem with grammar and spelling. Other editors will add to, and correct any errors. They probably will also add to or delete from the article to make sure that it is clear, and easy to understand.
  4. Add correct information. Make each step start with an action verb, and give information about the title of the article. Do not use your own life experiences, because wikiHow policy does not allow any personal references. Research and write a serious method to do something.
  5. Do not make it funny as wikiHow is not a place to write humorous articles. Write the facts, and state it easily for others to understand.
  6. Assure that it is not already in existence. The most important part is to make sure that the subject of the article, has not already been written, or yours will be either merged or deleted. Articles are read when they interest the readers.
