..and welcome to my little home here at wikiHow. I was born in Great Ormond Street chidren's hospital in London, but grew up in Scotland, which is what I like to call home, although I currently live in Oxford, doing computer stuff. I'm trying to break into product design, which is funny because my recent work has been more like designing disc inserts for books. I've just been hired to do web pages for a Sudanese company, which will hopefully be interesting. I'll let you know!

What else now.. I am a Gemini, I was born on June 7, 1969, which makes me around 37 (I don't know, you do the math!). I like doing computer stuff, especially creative things like design (web and page), making movies, animation and interactive features, and whatever else I come across. I should probably get out more.

Stuff I like to do:

• Going to far-flung places and mixing with the locals.
• Learning new technologies and trying to apply them.
• Watching movies, eating out, climbing hills, dreaming of Mars.. you know the routine.
• My newest addiction is wikiHow!

My aims when I arrived at wikiHow a few days ago were to read some interesting HowTos, but the whole wikiThing intrigued me so much that it's been hard to stay away. I love the interactions that happen here all the time. And so many interesting people.. I really like making friends and trying new things, and if I like it here, I'm here to stay!

What I do at wikiHow:

1. A life of boredom has resulted in a surprise love for writing. (Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled wikiHows yearning to breathe free...)
2. As well as writing new wikiHow, I love to edit other peoples'! There are some really great wikiHow on this site. The poor ones I want to mash and grind and crumple up and throw neatly into a baseball hoop from 100 yards. Really.
3. Please let's work together on some pages! I really like getting enjoyment out of effective collaboration.
4. I have recently learned how to patrol, hopefully I can learn what really effective patrolling is, maybe even from the patrol king, BenRubes!
