Hello there, thanks for dropping by! I would like to introduce myself, and tell you a little a bit about me. I am from the southern part of the United Kingdom, and most of the time it really can be a great place to live. I have been at wikiHow since February 2008, and I find it a great place to spend my free time. I am passionate about writing and editing here, and share the dream with everyone else here that one day we will fulfill our ambitious mission.

Being at home a lot gives me lots of time here on wikiHow, and I am always doing something here, from writing new articles, to expanding old ones. I also love to patrol, and this is something everyone should try. It stops vandalism and spam in its tracks, and ultimately makes wikiHow a better place for everyone. I am passionate about what I do here on this wonderful website, and I feel very proud and privileged to be part of this.

I love the atmosphere here as well, the community feel of this place is fantastic. I personally believe that no other volunteer work in the world is as rewarding as this. I love the sense of achievement you get when you do a great edit. It is great that everyone looks out for each other as well, which I think is a wonderful thing. I do not know where I would be if it was not for all the kind people here. You are all truly amazing.

Edit articles in need of copyediting.
Convert pages to wikiHow format.
Check out existing pages, or choose a random page, and edit and improve the article.
Keep an eye on new articles and nominate them for deletion if they are duplicates, or edit or categorize them appropriately. If these pages need more attention than you feel qualified to provide, label them appropriately.
Write a new article on a subject we don't yet cover.
Answer a request that has been made by another user. Search first. Redundant offerings may become the subject of a merge.
Patrol pages that have been recently edited.
Weave links into any article to knit all of wikiHow together.
Expand articles marked as stubs.
Remove personal references from articles.
Do accuracy patrol. Find inaccurate articles. Fact check and research them. Cite your sources.
Add Related wikiHows to a wikiHow article.
Improve our Featured Article Candidates or Write a Featured Article.
Join a collaboration. Every day new people are looking for editors to help them at the Collaboration Corner in the Forums.
