I discovered wikiHow one fateful morning during a disaster
filled home economics class; all I remember was that we needed a
how-to... immediately. Not for cooking, so much as for first aid.
Don't worry, nobody died- we all got out of the kitchen
alive...
So, anyway, I'm a teen girl who has a bit more time on her hands
than she'd like to admit. But, I do like to admit I spend some of
my time on wikiHow. I love copyediting, working on the other
wikiHows (Arabic, French and Spanish), welcoming newbies, and just
talking... erm, helping out. If you feel like it, drop me a line!
Though, please try to use more than two words in your
messages.
TuggingHeartStrings and I are the creators of a project called the
Behavior Saviors. We made this
project to improve the teenager subculture articles. I lead the
Punk end of the
project, and I also co-lead the Emo category with TuggingHeartStrings, though I'm no
expert in either. Regardless, take a look!
If the BSP doesn't appeal to you, check out the LGBT project; Benn (leader, creator.. a great
guy...) and I started it to improve the articles in that category.
Check it out- it's good stuff.
I smile to myself whenever I see a role-player's username (ie:
Massie Block, Harry Potter, Jessica Simpson), as I can't believe
people waste their time pretending to be these people. You are not
*insert name here* unless you were born as *insert name here* and
have the documents to prove it.
I think people forget that this is wikiHow (a how-to manual, not a
"fan" site), so there is no room for such things. And, anyway,
nobody enjoys patrolling pointless comments about "yourself", "your
life" and "your advice"...
