"I loved you once; I love you still; I always have; I always
will"
Hi Everyone! My name is Benn. I've seen three decades on this
earth, but lived nearly two. I am from Weymouth in Dorset, in the
United Kingdom. Some people know me by my old username of
"Bennelliott", which was chosen because my middle name is
Elliott. Yes my name does have two Ns, and two
Ls and Ts - because I'm special. I am at college
perusing - and pursuing - amongst other subjects, the various
intricacies of the French Language.
|
I am a native speaker of British English, et je peux
contribuer avec un niveau intermédiaire de français .
I am an advanced (D/X)HTML and CSS user, though much of my wikiHow
browsing involves discovering grammar and spelling mistakes (which
I usually rectify), copy-editing, patrolling recent changes, New
Article Boost, and adding new content when I feel that I know what
I am talking about. I mainly contribute to wikiHows in the
LGBT, Life, Being, Social
Interactions and Relationships categories, and create and fix
Templates.
Me and D-rae started the
wikiProject LGBT; and, with help from her,
who is one of the leaders of Behaviour
Saviours project, we are on our way to improving all
the articles in that category.
My favourite articles that I have contributed a lot to are:
How to Come Out As
Gay or Lesbian
How to Not Care
What People Think
How to Know if You Are
Gay
How to
Understand Gay and Lesbian People
How to Accept That You
Are Gay
How to Talk
with a Gay or Lesbian Person
How to Know the Difference Between LGBT
etc...
How to Date a Bisexual
Person and
How
to Learn HTML.

| I take
great pleasure in awarding Benn with the Kindness Barnstar. You are
always a cheerful, polite, sweet presence on wikiHow, and you have
not gone unnoticed. Whenever anyone comes at you with a problem,
you never turn them down. When faced with an unpleasant person, you
stay sweet. You, my dear, are one of wikiHow's
greatest. |
I am a very honest and open guy; I am gay, and tend to be very
easy to get along with, but I don't really like it when people act
selfishly or bigoted, or in a typically childish way. I don't tend
to turn people down when they ask about something unless it's going
to be impractical or it's just silly. I don't really like it when
people call someone an idiot because they have a different opinion
to themselves.
I suppose I am a very real person, and I am very comfortable
with the person that I am. I have no problem showing people the
person that I am, flaws and all. I suppose there couldn't really be
any other way to treat your life because it's way too stressful to
live inauthentically.
I like most kinds of music, but I'm much more of a fan of music
that has a guitar, piano, a good beat, makes me want to dance,
and/or has decent lyrics, or is calming, mellow, or suits the mood
that I am in. I like hard rock, soft rock, acoustic, alternative
rock, oldies, floorfillers, trance, techno, mood, chillout, world,
romance, dance, blues, pop, everything except much of the rap or
RnB types of music. As an ideal future career, I would like to be a
primary teacher, and I'd love to learn to fly.
