How to Use the PC to Create a Comic Book
Sick of drawing little doodles? Tired of calling a piece of colored paper a comic? Well now, in the modern age, just like BEANO creators, you can make a comic on your own little PC! Just follow the steps and you can make the greatest comic EVER!
[edit] Steps
- Start by drawing some little characters. Don't add any speech bubbles or color, as that's up to the computer. Make sure they'll fit in boxes.
- Get your paper and scan it on a scanner. Add it on, say, paint, and make sure it fits.
- Now's the fun bit. Using Paint©, make sure there are no cracks in the drawing. Take fill and the paintbrush and start to color.
- Go onto Microsoft Word©. Click 'Insert Table' and get as many tables as you need for drawing and insert them. Copy and paste your pictures in from Paint into the boxes.
- Add a title at the top in text boxand add autoshapes and comments in the boxes. Go mad with it.
- Once you have done, save and/or e-mail a copy. Then print more or less 10 copies and price them.
- Open up a little shack with lemonade and cookies, things like that, and sell them for about £0.55/$1.50, making sure you keep one for yourself! Or keep them all to yourself.
[edit] Tips
- It's best to save the file as if you want another copy then you can just print one off.
- have someone go over it and say what they think of your comic first, otherwise you wont sell any.
- If you're clever, you can also blow the pictures up and use them in an animation of some sort, adding sound.
- You may want to put up signs around your neighborhood to increase your costumers.
