How to Stay Awake when Working
Ever have to get that report done but just fell asleep at your desk? This how-to will guide you to a sleep-less night, so be prepared to embrace the following days of torture after that single all nighter.

- Get the required things at your desk.You will be more prepared for the work you are about to do.
- Wash your face with cold water so you won't get sleepy.
- Set an alarm clock every 30 minutes. It's a good backup plan in case you dose off.
- Concentrate completely to your work without being interrupt by others or other thoughts.
- Drink coffee.This will wake you up and it will bring out some tense of yours, so you will be more effective in what you are doing.
- Use icy water.Take a bath with icy water and you will notice that all your nerves and muscles will tie up.
- Exercise. Jog around your neighbourhood.This will help you in blood circulating as well.
- Take eye breaks. If you are using a computer, stop working every 20 minutes and take a look around the house.Drink some water or eat a snack.You don't want yourself sleeping on the keyboard.

- If you need to read anything for your work, then make sure you are completely awake.You won't have the same effectiveness.
- Avoid drinking everyday coffee.It might have good results, but certainly it is not very healthy for your body.

- If you wear contacts, they may start irritating, so take them out if you feel anything. Ask your optician about continuous wear contacts.
- Sometimes you just need to sleep, so just give up. Not sleeping for the third night in a row is very unhealthy.
