Wondering how to restore an old car? Well, here's the article for you.

[edit] Steps

  1. Go to an auction and buy an old, used car. Try not to spend over 400$.
  2. Make a strategy of how to do it and how to start.
  3. Start with the engine. Try to remove most parts and replace them with little parts. Keep as many parts of the engine as possible. Devote a day or two of cleaning the engine.
  4. Get under your car, and if you can, get a mechanic to help you replace the exhaust, or at least just put in a new muffler.
  5. Go to the inside, clean it out, try a new radio, steering wheel, and maybe even clutch or transmission if you need.
  6. Do the bodywork.(Scrape off surface rust, get the dents good, even get a new paint job).
  7. Go to a mechanic for a tune up and for him to check that everything is proper.

[edit] Tips

  • Cut down on something to get a little extra money.
  • Work on weekends at least an hour a day.

[edit] Warnings

  • Do not try anything funny with the engine, do not unhook anything until you have the replacement.
