How to Recover from Eating Trans Fat

If you are trying to be healthy and avoid trans fat, but you end up consuming a lot of it because you couldn't tell or there was no label, you can recover from it. You will receive no long-term damage.

[edit] Steps

  1. Wait it out. The longer after you ate it, the more of it that will be out of your system.
  2. Get your heart pumping. This does the opposite of what trans fat does. You may not want to exercise for fear of seeing yourself performing worse because of the trans fat you ate, but it will help you in the long run.
  3. Identify the source of your trans fat, and never eat it again. Was it that McDonalds you ate for dinner, and that particular thing you ate did not come with the nutrition info, so you just ate it because you were hungry?
