How to Make an Angel Costume
Feel like being a totally sweet angel this Halloween? It's really easy to make and a pretty cheap and good for people on a budget.
[edit] Steps
- Find a white t-shirt that is a goes a little past your knees. Or you can go for a white and silky nightgown. Remember: You really shouldn't buy that heavenly silky cocktail dress. Your an angel, not a devil in disguise ( and if you are, you really aren't doing that well!)
- Cut out large pieces of cardboard in the shape of half hearts for wings. Make sure that you cut out white cardboard or you can buy them for at least $10.00 or even for $5.00 at Walgreens or a Halloween Store.
- Then cover the half hearts in tin foil. If you want, you can spread some clear glue and sprinkle some sparkly glitter.
- Attach the "wings" with duct tape to the t-shirt. Make sure the duct tape isn't seen or it will make you look tacky and no one wants to be known best as the tacky kid.
- For the halo, shape gold pipe cleaner into a circle large enough to put on your head. Then again, you can buy a pre-made halo at Walgreens or Halloween Stores.
