Everyone is constantly on the go- jumping from one place to another hardly taking time to breathe. The worst part is that somewhere along the line, you tend to forget or lose some of those memories you have experienced. Pictures say a thousand words but what is the use of them if they sit in a box under your bed. It's time to do something with all your photos, and not in the time consuming QVC infomercial way. Here are some quick and simple steps to making the perfect scrapbook for the person on the go, who is not looking to spend a lot of money! After conquering these steps, you will be able to preserve all of your favorite memories!

CAPTURE THE MOMENT. First of all, you must have the discipline to take a lot of pictures! Capture your friends in the moment, and the places that you go. If it is a special event, make sure to write down where you went, anything specific that you did when you were there and of course funny moments. If possible, try and write down funny comments that were made or embarrassing and entertaining stories that happened. It never hurts to keep memorabilia as well; invitations, party favors, business cards, etc.
  2. PREPARATION. Develop your pictures sooner than later. The faster you get your scrapbook done, the easier it will be and the more detailed it will become. Procrastinating will just make this a dreadful task.
  3. some designer scissors

BE CREATIVE. Chose the best pictures from the night/event. Using decorative boarders around the pictures, designer scissors, and themed paper that correspond to the pictures. DON'T crowd the page too much, sometimes simpler is better.

PERSONALIZE. Adding the party favors, objects and other things you have kept from the event will help make your scrapbook page stand out. It can also help to write labels under the pictures of what you were doing, who you were with and any of those funny stories or comments that were made. This makes the whole page much more personal and helps you remember the moment far in the future. Whatever you decide to do, make sure to add a personal touch.
