How to Make Someone Disappear on a Camera Phone
An old film trick that can be done with a camera phone. Simple movie magic can make your friends disappear!

- Get your camera phone and set it to video.
- Get a friend to stand in front of the camera phone.
- Start recording.
- Record your friend doing nothing for a few seconds, then pause in the middle of recording.
- Ask your friend to move out of the way, without moving the camera phone.
- For a few seconds, record the space where your friend was standing.
- Stop recording and save your file.
- Press play to view your video, and you will see your friend vanish.

- To add a fun spin, you could have your friend clap, or snap their fingers right before you pause recording. See if you can come up with other disappearing gags.
- It's very important that the camera phone does not move when recording is paused. Keeping it aimed at the same spot is what makes this trick work. Try supporting one hand with the other if you are shaky.
