How to Make Salads Ready to Serve

Have you ever wanted to be able to set your fresh salad on the table without all the dressing bottles?

[edit] Steps

  1. Pick your favorite bowl, glass, plastic or wood is even better
  2. Depending on the size of your salad of course, pour approx. 1/4 C of Red Vinegar, (home-made is best), salt & pepper, 1 tablespoon of Honey, 1 tablespoon of a good dark spicy mustard, 1-2 heaps of your favorite jelly or jam, prefer Blackberry,a few dashes of Italian Seasoning, sugar to taste and whisk together.
  3. Sneak a taste and alter to your liking..
  4. Now, just lay all of your lettuce on top of the dressing and add other veggies as you like...but don't toss
  5. If your meal is not ready, just cover and place in fridge. When you are ready to serve, reach in and toss dressing and greens together.
    • You will be more apt to have salads with your meals with this handy way to prepare and serve. Enjoy!

[edit] Tips

  • Make my own vinegar by buying berries and dropping them into a unique bottle, like a wine bottle or whiskey bottle...you want a good seal.
  • Then cover the berries with a good cider vinegar and let sit for 7-10 days...you can use it anytime you want but the longer it sits the better it is.
