How to Make a Simple Salad Dressing

A good dressing can make your salad more-ish and interesting. It should also compliment other ingredients in your salad. This is a simple dressing that consists mainly of sweet vinegar and oil. It will go well with a basic salad, and can be made sweeter to compliment a salad with strong cheese.

[edit] Ingredients

  • Oil of your choice
  • Vinegar of your choice
  • Seasoning
  • Sweetener

[edit] Steps

  1. Get a clean jar and pour in 2 parts olive oil to 1 part balsamic vinegar or other sweet vinegar.
  2. Add some honey and salt/pepper to taste.
  3. Put the lid on the jar and shake it really hard. Then have a little taste.
  4. It might need something extra to make it perfect - perhaps some wholegrain mustard, some herbs or whatever you feel like. Be creative!

[edit] Warnings

  • Always taste it before tipping it all over your salad - make sure you like it.
