How to Make Pokemon Splices

Pokémon splices are a form of mixing and editing Pokemon images on your PC.

[edit] Steps

  1. Go to a Pokémon image source website (Pokémon Elite 2000 or Spriter's Resource are good places)
  2. Go to Microsoft Paint, not Word or Publish etc;
  3. Copy [Ctrl+C] & paste [Ctrl+V] various pictures of Pokémon you want to splice.
  4. Erase body parts of the Pokémon you choose, and combine them
  5. Zoom in then go to pick color and pick the darkest shade (color) of one of the Pokémon, repeat with lighter colors.
  6. Continue to put the new color palette to the part of the other Pokemon until there's only one color base

[edit] Tips

  • If you cannot find Microsoft Paint on your desktop, go to start, then to applications, then go to accessories, then you should have paint.
  • If you get confused, either keep practicing or go see lots of splices on YouTube.

[edit] Things You'll Need

  • Microsoft Paint and basic knowledge of Internet access or your own sprites
