How to Love Mythology

If you think mythology is boring, I know how you can like it. If you want to have a strength in mythology, keep reading. If not, buzz off!

[edit] Steps

  1. Play Games. Games such as Age of Mythology, the Age of Empires series, Battle over Troy, Achaea, and Zeus: Master of Olympus can boost your interests and make mythology fun. Believe me, they help. A LOT!!!
  2. Watch Movies. Movies, like games, can make you love mythology. Hercules, The Odyssey, etc. can really help. Not a lot, but a little.
  3. Read books. Books such as Mythology by Candlewick Press can teach you a lot of mythology. Egyptology is also by Candlewick and I recommend that as a good research book. The Iliad and Odyssey are also good books you can download for free. For more of The Iliad, read The Trojan War by Olivia Coolidge. For more on the Odyssey, read Odysseus by Geraldine McCaughrean. For more on BOTH, read The Iliad and Odyssey by Karen Spies. On myths, I recommend Greek Myths by Olivia Coolidge and Roman Myths by Geraldine McCaughrean and Emma Chichester Clark.
  4. Learn myths on many different cultures. Besides Greece and Rome, Egypt, the Vikings, and the Native Americans have a few good myths in books and movies nowadays.
