Don't care about what other people think of you. If they laugh, then pretend you don't hear. If anyone bullies you or makes fun of you, ignore their rudeness. YOU aren't doing anything wrong, are you? There's no point in shouting at them or starting an argument, Luna is completely against that, just turn around and walk away.
Dye your hair a dirty blonde color, if possible.
Wear grey colored contacts and try not to blink often.
Whenever you go to a wedding, or another happy event, wear yellow; it is an optimistic colour.
Read magazines upside down. You could also get a notebook, write in a diary, math notes, science homework, or something like that on the cover, and write everything in it upside down. Then, when you study or people look at them, they will be upside down!
Adopt an aloof and dreamy air and manner. Daydream. Don't really pay attention to people, unless you are serious. Then get a very piercing look on your face.
Go overboard with your appearance. Wear many different patterns, and colours. Be very unique, and individual. Go with bright colors, such as orange, purple, and yellow.
Get a character wand from somewhere like e-bay, or use a chopstick, knitting needle, or something like that, and stick it behind your ear like Luna. A better option might be to stick a pencil behind your ear, because, after all, you're not a witch. Are you?
Don't try too hard. Harry Potter haters will make fun of you if you are recognized. If they do recognize that, then be realistic and walk by with a dreamy look on your face.
If you really want to be like Luna, don't worry about how you look. Think about being nice to others, and supporting them.
Luna is not just sweet and kind to humans, she also has a thing for animals which people don't care about. Give out food to the hungry animals who really need it.
Never be greedy! Like above, give food to the animals and people, but save some for yourself too. Luna loves it when we all share.
