How to Keep a Toddler Busy and Entertained

Toddlers love hands on activities! This simple yet fun activity keep the Little ones busy for a long time. It's easy to clean up, too!

[edit] Steps

  1. Take a regular plastic trash bag and cut along 2 seams. Unfold the bag and place it on a flat surface.
  2. Use Scotch tape of packing tape, and tape edges of the bag down.
  3. Buy cheap shaving cream and squirt it directly onto the bag.
  4. Have your toddler smear it all over the "paper". Encourage them to draw letters and shapes.
  5. Wait until they get bored, untape all edges. Bring corners together, trapping shaving cream inside.

[edit] Tips

  • Have fun and let them be creative.
  • Don't do activity too often. It loses the magic. If you use it occasionally, like on rainy days, they will be excited and occupied much longer!

[edit] Warnings

  • Do not eat shaving cream. It tastes bad, and may very well be toxic.
