How to Get Free Music with Google Search

Using the Google search, there is a way to find and download free music.

  1. From the google screen, type "intitle:index of" with the quotation marks in the search bar.
  2. Type the song name, after the phrase and outside of the quotation marks, what song you'd like to download. Make sure mp3 is at the end.
  3. Click on any index page. Index pages should be a directory of the files that the website or webpage is holding.
  4. Download the music through links or open a media player, such as WinAmp or Windows Media Player to play them.

  • Don't worry! Nothing will happen if you get the music.
  • Some music you can't buy, so you'll have to use this if you want the song.
  • It is helpful to search for the music using the format "Artist-Title.mp3", because most people organize their music this way.

  • Don't feel humiliated. You might think this is unfair.
  • Some of the songs may be screwed up. You might have get an iTunes card or whatever to get it.
