This is an article to explain what is to be expected when owning a classic Range Rover and how you can have most fun with it

[edit] Steps

  1. Do not expect your Range Rover Classic to be a daily driver.
  2. Panel gaps are wide. This is how it has been designed.
  3. Drive your Range Rover like it's your brother-in-laws, it can handle it.
  4. Don't buy parts at the dealer.
  5. Don't get it serviced at the dealer unless absolutely necessary. There are other reputable independant mechanics that are better for less in most cities.

[edit] Tips

  • Buy 'em cheap, fix 'em good
  • Keep it forever. Think British, Think Rover!

[edit] Warnings

  • Own another car in addition to a Range Rover Classic.
  • Know where yours leaks (internally and externally).

[edit] Things You'll Need

  • A driving License
  • Fuel
  • Oil
  • Road Tax
  • MOT
  • Tools
  • Boiler suit
  • Haynes Manual
  • A direct line to paddocks or craddocks
  • A friend who works at the land rover dealer
  • A MIG welder
