By using the following method, you can learn to draw bubble letters and reflect your own style. 1. Make the outline the same distance from the actual letter, all the way around the shape of the letter.

[edit] Tips

*Make sure you have a good eraser

  • Practice makes perfect.
  • Try to keep the distance between outlines at about a quarter of an inch (half a centimeter), at least until you get used to making accurate outlines.
  • Bubble letters typically overlap within a word. After you draw the first letter of the word, draw the next one slightly behind it, and the next one behind that, etc.
  • As you get better, you'll be able to make bubble letters without the outlines.
  • Bubble letters look great on posters, but also brighten up the graphic look of many other types of artwork. For example, a smaller bubble letter sign could be just the thing your math notes need to make the beginning of a new unit stand out, or a diary or class schedule.
  • If you think of how the letter will look before you draw it, you may draw the letter a little better.
  • Feel free to draw extra lines on the letters to make them look cooler.
  • Bubbles and balloons reflect things on their smooth surfaces, especially light. Adding some of those pretty little details will set your drawings apart!
  • Use pencil
  • Draw lighter lines around the actual letter so when you erase, you wont have marks.
  • You will need a lot of practice if you want perfect and if it looks bad in your eyes, DONT give up you'll get there.

[edit] Warnings

  • Be extra careful with Z, R, M, B, G, S, N, A, Q, F and K, as they can be tricky.
  • Don't be afraid to overlap when you color in the rest. It will look super cool!
  • If doing bubble letters and numbers, make it simple. Don't struggle.
  • If you have trouble doing bubble letters and numbers, just try twice as hard.
  • If you mess up don't start over just erase
  • Try to make it look retro when you color it in.
