How to Do Quick Chores Your Parents Will Appreciate
Want to prove to your parents that you are responsible? Don't have time to do any big chores, like cleaning the garage, etc? Keep reading for some quick chores that will help take chores off your parents list, and add some happy faces to yours!

- Set aside 10 minutes or more every morning to tend to some household work. It may seem bothersome to have to do chores in the morning, but it pays off with increased family harmony.
- Choose one of the following chores that take less than 30 minutes and see how smooth your family life can be. It will make your parents happy!
- Unload the dishwasher. This takes about 5 minutes to do! It's very simple, and it will be easier for your parents. If they are running late for work, they can just shove their dirty dishes in there.
- Load the dishwasher with the breakfast dishes. This should take about 5 minutes. All you have to do is rinse the dishes off and put them in there.
- Help a younger sibling get dressed. If you have younger siblings, they sometimes forget to zip their pants or button a shirt. Help them put on their clothes, or if they don't need help getting dressed, help them gather any things they'll need for school or daycare.
- Clean up after taking a shower. Parents absolutely hate it when you leave the bathroom dirty. All you have to do is hang your towel up and put away any items you've used. Rinse the tub off and wipe the sink area; it only takes 5 minutes!
- Vacuum or sweep. Vacuum any carpeting, or if you have hardwood floors, sweep. 10 minutes tops. Parents LOVE THIS!
- Take out the trash. This is a really big help to parents and takes less than 2 minutes.
- If your really would like to go out of your way to help your parents out , assuming you do not have a dishwasher, you could always wash the dishes and put them on the drying rack, Parents LOVE this!
- Continue this behavior every day.

- Try to do at least 2 of these chores every day
- Even if you have limited time, try to do helpful chores for your parents. The more you can help around the house, the more time your parents will have to do things with you.
- Most parents would rather you help around the house and be friendly than for you to get amazing grades, but never help!

- Don't stress over school too much. If it feels like you never have time for anything but homework, make a schedule and plan in some chore time as well as some time to relax.
