Bought a shiny new LG Chocolate? Sweet. Please note that these steps have only been tested on the GSM versions of the LG chocolate and may not work with the Verizon/Telus CDMA version.

Insert the LG disc included in your box into the computer and install everything (you'll see why later).
Simply plug in the Chocolate into your computer via the USB cable.
If autoplay doesn't pop up, go to My Computer, go to the "external drive".
To add ringtones or MP3s, drag and drop the files into the respective folders. Please note that the ringtone file is a hidden file.
When you're done, click the safely remove drive icon on the lower right hand corner and pull the phone out.

Remember, simple rule. For LG applications, turn on the modem. For everything else, just plug the phone in.
