How to Cancel Evolution in Pokemon
You have the perfect Pokemon and thinks it looks the best. When you raise it, it's levels grow. It starts to evolve into another Pokemon but you want it to stop. Read on to figure out how to do this.

- Raise your Pokémon until they begin to evolve.
- When the evolution dialogue screen appears ("What? X-Pokémon is evolving!") appears, wait for the evolution "animation" (when the sprite begins to flash white) to appear.
- Press B repeatedly until it says, "Huh? X-Pokémon stopped evolving!"

- Letting your Pokemon evolve will make them more powerful, so only do this when you want them to learn a move earlier, etc...
- You could also give the Pokémon an Everstone to keep it from evolving.
