How to Camp Indoors

Do your parents not like camping? Or is it that time of year again where it is to icy or cold to camp. Here is a fun way to solve those problems without having that dreaded weather. Before you start it might be a good idea to ask your parents before starting. You don't have to if you want the chance to be grounded.

[edit] Steps

  1. Make a small fort indoors or if you have an indoor tent, set that up.
  2. Pack a backpack with your camping supplies for the evening. Try to only use things you have packed.
  3. Make a fake fire. See Make a Fake Fireplace
  4. Plan some "camping" activities:
    • Go hiking. Plan a route through your house and pay attention to the little details you never see in your day-to-day life.
    • Go stair sledding (with parental permission). At the top of the stairs, sit on a large cushion or wrap a thick blanket around yourself and slide down.
    • Tell ghost stories around your campfire.
    • Have a picnic lunch or dinner. Spread out a blanket by your tent and enjoy the atmosphere.

[edit] Tips

  • Add outdoor atmosphere by arranging all your household plants around your camping site.
  • Try not to use any Video games while camping indoors for a better effect

[edit] Warnings

  • Make sure it is okay with parents.

[edit] Things You'll Need
